研究方向：

1． 哺乳动物细胞的基因表达调控。

2． 基因随机表达过程在干细胞分化中的作用。

3． 运用流式细胞术、微流体技术以及高通量测序等技术把在对单细胞层次基因表达的认识提高到细胞群体、组织、和器官的层次，以理解在这些层次细胞的基因表达在细胞间是如何相互引导和协调。
